टाल ṭāl[S. अअट्टालरोलर?], s.f. A station or place for storing wood, grain, grass, and the like, and where it is sold; a store of wood, grain, chaff, etc.; a stack (of wood), heap (of grain, etc.), a rick:—ṭāl karnā(-kī), To set up a ṭālor store of wood, etc.; to make a stack, heap, or rick (of):—ṭāl mārnā(-kī), To heap up, to heap;—to turn the scale fraudulently (in weighing), to give the beam a twist (and thus diminish the true weight).
