िवषयी vishayī, adj. & s.m. (f. -iṇī), Relating to objects of sense; attached to sensual objects; engaged or interested in worldly occupations or enjoyments; sensual, carnal, worldly;—a king (as engaged in the business of government); a person engaged in worldly pursuits, a man of business; a man of the world, a wordling; a sensualist, voluptuary;—an epithet of Kām-dev, the god of love;—one who disbelieves or denies the existence of everything except objects of sense, a materialist.
