वृ न्दा vrindā, s.f. Name of the forest in which Krishṇwas educated (i.q. brindā, q.v.);—sacred basil, Ocymum sanctum:—vrindā-devī, s.f. Name of a goddess:—vrindā-vipin, s.m., or vrindā-van, vulg. brindā-ban, s.m. The wood or forest of Vrindā(see brindā);—vrindā-van-dhām, s.m. An epithet of Vrindā:—vrindā-van-vāsī, vulg. brindā-ban-bāsī, s.m. An inhabitant of Vrindā-van:—vrindā-van-vihārī, vulg. brindā-ban-bihārī, s.m.
