halāk (inf. n. of هلك 'to perish,' etc.), s.m. Perishing; being lost;—perdition, destruction, ruin;—slaughter; death;—part. Lost; destroyed;—fatigued:—halāk karnā, v.t. To destroy; to kill, to put to death;—to overwhelm; to drive to destruction;—to distress, to fatigue:—halāk honā, v.n. To perish, to die; to be killed; to be ruined;—to be fatigued or tired.
