ǿƴ hrishṭa, vulg. hrishṭ(rt. ǿष् ), part. (f. -ā), Having the hair of the body bristling (with rapture), thrilled (with delight); enraptured, delighted, rejoiced, pleased, glad, cheerful, happy;—laughing, smiling;—astonished, surprised;—disappointed:—hrishṭa-pushṭ, adj. Merry (or frisky) and fat, happy and well-fed; well-conditioned.
