नीच nīć[Prk. नीचो, or नीचं; S. नीचः, or नीचं], adj. Low; situated in a low position; deep (down);—short, small, dwarfish;—low, vile, base, mean; petty, insignificant, inferior:—nīć-ūṅc, s.f.
