नींद nīṅd[Prk. िनƧा; S. िनिा], s.f. Sleep:—nīṅd ućaṭnā, or nīṅd ućāṭhonā, v.n. Sleep to be dissipated, or to vanish; to have one's sleep broken; to be unable to sleep:—nīṅd ānāor ā-jānā(-ko), 'Sleep to visit the eyes,' to feel sleepy:—nīṅd-bhar, adj. Having had abundance of sleep:—nīṅd-bhar-sonā, or nīṅdbhar-ke sonā, v.n. To sleep soundly; to have one's fill of sleep; to be at ease:—nīṅd ḥarām karnā(kisī-kī), To disturb the sleep (of):—nīṅdmeṅhonā, v.n. To be sleepy.
