नैिमष naimish (fr. ni-misha), s.m. Name of a forest and sacred tīrth (celebrated as the residence of certain Rishīs to whom Sauti recited the Mahābhārat: the district was so called because in it the sage Gaur-mukh destroyed an army of Asurs ina twinkling):—naimishāraṇya (˚sha+ar˚), s.m.=naimish.
