nuṭfa (for A. نطفة nuṭfat, v.n. fr. نطف 'to flow,' etc.), s.m. Clear water, lymph;—seed, sperma hominis;—a son;—the sea:—nuṭfa-ě-bintu`l-’inab, 'The seed of the daughter of the grape,' a bastard begotten in a drunken fit:—nut̤fa-ě-be-taḥqīq, or nut̤fa-ě-ḥarām, adj. & s.m. Misbegotten, illegitimate;—an illegitimate child, a bastard.
