naṣb, vulg. naṣab (inf. n. of نصب 'to erect, set up,' etc.), s.m. Erecting, setting up, establishing, fixing, planting, etc.; establishment, etc. (in Gram.) marking a consonant with the vowel fatḥa (-َ ); the vowel fatḥa (in inflexion or declension):—naṣb karnā, v.t. To erect, set up (at, -par), to establish, fix, plant, etc.:—naṣb honā, v.n. To be erected, or set up, etc.
