महेशरी maheśrī[S. महेƳर+इकः(इन् +कः)], adj. & s.m. Of or pertaining to Maheśvar;—name of a sect who are worshippers of Maheś; an individual of that sect; a worshipper of Maheś:—maheśrī ćhand, s.m. Name of a metre in Hindī(it has seven feet in each line, thus 4x5+6+2=28 instants; with a pause at the 16th instant, and a secondary pause at the 9th: the last syllable of each ćaraṇmust be long).
