महंग mahaṅg, mahng[Prk. महग्घो; S. महाघर् ः(महा+अघर् ः)], adj. (dialec.) High-priced, dear, etc. (i.q. mahaṅgā, q.v.):—mahṅg-samāṅ(samāṅ= samay), s.m. Dear time or season, time of dearth or scarcity; a dearth, etc. (i.q. mahaṅgī, q.v.):—mahang-mol, s.m. High price:—mahang-molā, or mahng-molā, s.m. One who sells at a high price, or who charges an exorbitant price.
