मण्डप maṇḍap, s.m. An open hall; a temporary building or shed (adorned with flowers, and erected on festive occasions, such as marriages, etc.); a pavilion; a shed;—a building consecrated to a deity, a temple;—an arbour, a bower:—maṇḍap-ě-at̤lasī, s.m. The lower heaven, or crystalline sphere.
