मिन्दर mandir, or मन्दर mandar[S. मिन्दरं], s.m. A habitation, dwelling, house, mansion, palace; the dwelling of Hindūascetics (as takiyais that of Muhammadan faqīrs); a temple, pagoda;—(fig.) the body;—a town;—the sea;—the back of the knee:—mandir-sewak, s.m.
