minnat (for A. منة , inf. n. of منّ 'to confer a favour (on)'), s.f. Kindness or service done (to); favour, obligation;—grace, courtesy;—entreaty, humble and earnest supplication;—grateful thanks, praise:—minnat-dār, adj. Under obligation, obliged:—minnat-dār karnā, v.t. To put (one) under an obligation, to oblige:—minnat-dārī, s.f. The being under an obligation:—minnat-shinās, adj. & s.m.
