mulāḥaz̤a (for A. ملاحظة mulāḥaz̤at, inf. n. of لاحظ 'to look askance at each other; to look attentively (at),' iii of لحظ ; but prob. fr. laḥaz̤'outer corner of the eye'), s.m. Looking attentively (at), contemplating; contemplation, consideration; inspection, view, notice; regard (syn. liḥāz̤);—looking askance or shy (at):—mulāḥaz̤e-kā ādmī, An affable or courteous person:—mulāḥaz̤a karnā, v.t. To look closely or attentively (at), to view, to inspect closely, to examine; to pay regard or heed (to); to regard with favour;—to look askance or shy (at, -se):—mulāḥaz̤e-meṅ ānā, or mulāḥaz̤e-se guz̤arnā, To pass in review; to come under consideration or notice:—mulāḥaz̤a shud, Seen; examined; compared:—ba mulāḥaz̤a, adv.
