mugul, vulg. mugal, s.m. A Mogul;—the third of the four classes into which Muḥammadans are divided:—mugal-paṭhān, s.m. 'The Mogul and the Paṭhān'; a kind of game played (like draughts) on a diagram sketched on the ground, or on a board or paper, with sixteen kauṛīs, or pebbles, etc. used on each side for men:—kābulīmugal, s.m. A Mogul of Kābul;—an idle disputant.
