miswāk (n. of instr. fr. ساك (for سوك ) 'to rub'), s.f. A tooth-stick, tooth-brush, dentifrice (a piece of stick with which the teeth are rubbed and cleaned, the end being made like a brush by beating or chewing so as to separate the fibres; i.q. dāṅtaun, which, in India, is com a stick of the nīmtree).
