muzawwir (act. part. of زوّر 'to falsify, to embellish with lies,' ii of زار (for زور ), but prob. formed fr. zūr, 'a lie'), s.m. A falsifier, liar; a knave, cheat:—mazawwar (pass. part. of the same verb), part. Falsified; false; adulterated;—crooked, oblique; tortuous;—s.m. A lie, a falsehood.
