majma’a (for A. مجمعة majma’at, fr. majma), = A مجمع majma’(n. of place from جمع 'to collect,' etc.), s.m. A place in which people collect or assemble; place of meeting or rendezvous; an assembly, a congregation, concourse; convention; meeting, rendezvous; a collection, heap, pile;—a book of miscellanies, a magazine:—majma’ikhaṭṭākarnā, To collect a body of people together:—majma’u`lbaḥrain, s.m. The place where the two seas meet; the meeting of two seas.
