lagām, s.m. Bridle; bit; bit and reins together:—lagām denā(-ko), lagām ćaṛhānā(-par), or lagām lagānā(-ko), To put a bridle (on), to bridle; to curb, check, control:—belagām honā, v.n. To be without bit or bridle, to be unbridled; to be free from check or restraint; to run riot:—ḵẖẉush-lagām, adj. Obedient to the rein (a horse).
