लड़ाई laṛā`ī[laṛ(nā)+ā`ī= Prk. एअव्वअइआ=S. (इ)तव्य+ता+इका], s.f. Fighting, wrestling; fight, contention, quarrel, squabble, brawl; conflict, combat, battle, war; discord, hostility, enmity:—laṛā`ībāṅdhnā, To make a quarrel:—laṛā`ībaṛhānā, To extend a quarrel; to foment or aggravate a quarrel:—laṛā`ī-bhiṛā`ī, s.f.=laṛā`ī:—laṛā`īpalle bāṅdhnā, To involve (oneself) in a quarrel:—laṛā`ītulnā, Strife or war to be imminent:—laṛā`ī ḍālnā(-meṅ), To sow discord (between), to set (people) by the ears; to make (dogs, etc.) fight:—laṛā`ī-kā, adj.
