लत lat[prob. Prk. िलƣा; S. िलƯा, rt. िलप् ], s.f. A trick; a bad habit, a vice; a whim, whimsey; blameworthiness, faultiness:—latpat, part. adj. Saturated, drenched; flaccid, hanging loose; viscous, sticky, clammy;—folded; entangled, etc. (=lathaṛ-pathaṛ, and laṭ-paṭ, q.v.):—lat paṛnā, or lat ho-jānā(-ko), To become a habit or vice;—lat-phal, s.m.
