िखलाना khilānā(caus. of khānā, q.v.), v.t. To cause to eat; to give food to, to feed; to entertain; to cause to take (as medicine, or the air, or an oath, etc.); to give, to administer (poison, etc.); to cause to suffer or undergo (as a beating, etc.):—khilā-denā, v.t. intens. of and=khilānā:—khilāne-wālā, adj. & s.m. (f. -ī), Who feeds;—feeder, supporter, sustainer:—khilāne-wālīasāmī, s.f. A woman who supports her lover.
