कटहरा kaṭharā, or kaṭahrā, or कठरा kaṭhrā[for kaṭh-gharā= S. काƵ+गृ ह+कः], s.m. A large wooden cage;—a railing, a palisade; palings; a fence of wood; bars of wood; balustrade; banisters; frame-work (as at the end of a bed, or the sides of a cart, or around the sides of a ship or boat, etc.);—a block of wood on which fodder, etc. is cut.
