कुण्डा kuṇḍā[S. कुण्ड+कः, or कं], s.m. A son born in adultery, an adulterine;—(Dakkhanī) a basin, bowl, pot, dish, shallow pan (cf. kuṇḍ); a rich and savoury dish which the Mohammadans cause to be dressed and served up to their relations and friends annually in the month of rajab (in commemoration of the anniversary of the death of their Imām ‘alī).
