kamar [Pehl. kamar; Zend kamara, fr. kamar = S. kmar], s.f. The loins, the waist; a girdle, zone, belt; the middle (of a mountain, etc.); the flank (of an army); an arch:—kamar bāṅdhnā(-par), To gird up the loins (for), to get ready, prepare, arm (for); toresolve, to be intent (on):—kamar-basta, adj.
