क्षेम kshem, adj. (f. -ā), & s.m. At ease, safe, secure, free from danger, well in health, prosperous, fortunate, happy, right;—a prosperous person, etc.;—safety, tranquillity, peace, rest, security, easy or comfortable state, well-being, weal, happiness, prosperity, fortune, wealth; happiness or prosperity, etc. personified;—the term of civil salutation proper to be used by a Brāhmaṇto a Vaiśya;—name of a certain prince; name of one of the divisions of a continent:—kshem-dharm, s.m. The duty of forgiveness and well-wishing:—kshem-kar, adj. & s.m.
