कƣल kattal (prob. for kattar= katar, q.v.), s.f. A chip, a shred,strip; a piece of stone, or brick, or earth, a shard:—kattal-tirā, s.m. Throwing a shard, etc. so as to make it skim along the surface of water; the game of ducks and drakes (syn. ćhićhilī).
