काणा kāṇā, or काना kānā[S. काण+कः], adj. & s.m. (f. -ī), One-eyed, monoculous, blind of one eye:—perforated (as a cowrie, or fruit); having a black speck or spot outside (fruit); having a rotten kernel, or having no kernel (fruit);—foolish, stupid;—a one-eyed person; a perforated or specked fruit; the ace (at dice);—a stupid person:—kānīkauṛī, s.f.
