कािलया kāliyā[S. कािलयःand कािलय+ कः], s.m. Name of a Nāga or serpent that inhabited the Jamnā(it is said to have had a hundred and ten heads, and to have been slain by Krishṇ):—kālī-dah, or kālī-kunḍ, s.m. The pit or whirlpool in the river Jamnāin which the serpent Kālīis said to have lived:—kālī-nāg, s.m. The serpent Kālī.
