qalaq (inf. n. of قلق 'to be restless or uneasy,' etc.), s.m. Fretfulness, restlessness, disquietude, discomfort, perturbation, agitation, commotion, anxiety, keen regret:—qalaq rahnā(-meṅ), The disquietude, or regret, etc. (of a thing) to remain, or to rankle (in the mind):—qalaq guẕarnā, or qalaq honā(with gen. of thing, and dat. of person), To feel anxiety, or pain, or sorrow; to regret; to pine (for, or after).
