quflī, vulg. qulfī(rel. n. fr. qufl, q.v.), s.f. A mould (for ice, jelly, etc.);—a small saucershaped earthen vessel;—qufliyāṅ, s.f. pl. Small saucer-shaped earthen vessels fitted with khīr (which are commonly interchanged as presents by families between which a marriage is arranged, from the first to the fortieth day after Moḥarram).
