farshī(rel. n. fr. farsh), adj. Of or relating to a carpet, or a floor; reaching down to the carpet or floor;—flat, even; flat bottomed;—s.f. A kind of ḥuqqa (=farshīḥuqqa, q.v.):—farshījūtā, s.m. A slipper:—farshī ḥuqqa, s.m. A large ḥuqqawith a flat bottom which stands on the ground (in contradistinction to a small one which is carried in the hand):—farshīsalām, s.m. A bow or obeisance made down to the carpet or the floor, a very low bow.
