Profit, advantage, benefit, good, avail, utility, use; gain; yield; interest; value;—convalescence;—moral (of a story, etc.); result; inference; corollary:—fā`ida uṭhānā(-se), To reap benefit or advantage (from); to enjoy; to utilize, to turn to account; to make the most of:—fā`ida karnā(-ko), To prove beneficial (to), to benefit; to profit, avail, serve; to do good (to), to improve; to cure:—fā`ida-mand, adj. Profitable, beneficial, advantageous, useful; efficacious; efficient; benefited; edified; gratified:—be-fā`ida, adj. & adv. Profitless, useless, bootless, unavailing; unserviceable, of no use; needless; absurd;—unprofitably; to no purpose, bootlessly, in vain, uselessly, etc.
