g̠addār (intens. n. fr. غدر 'to act perfidiously,' etc.), adj. & s.m. Very perfidious, faithless, treacherous; deceitful, fraudulent, sly;—a perfidious or faithless man, etc., a betrayer (the epithet is also applied to a large city, etc. as being a place in which one is easily lost, and a thing or person is hard to find).
