’it̤r, vulg. ’at̤r, s.m. Perfume, fragrance; essence; ottar (or otto) of roses, etc.:—’it̤r-dān, s.m. A perfume-box, scent-case:—’it̤r khaiṅćnā(-kā), To extract the essence (of):—’it̤r lagānā(-meṅ), To apply perfume or ’it̤rto the body or clothes:—’it̤r-mālī, s.f. The rubbing of perfume:—’it̤r-malnā(-par), To rub perfume (on), etc. (=‘it̤r lagānā, q.v.):—’it̤r nikālnā(-kā) = ’it̤r khaiṅćnā, q.v.
