sair (inf. n. of سیر 'to go,' etc.), s.f. Moving about, strolling, stroll, ramble, walk, taking the air, airing, perambulation, excursion, tour, travels; recreation, amusement; scene, view, spectacle, landscape; perusal (of a book, etc.); a sally (of wit, etc.), a jest:—sair karnā, v.n. To take the air, to stroll, ramble, perambulate; to take amusement, to enjoy sights, to view or contemplate a beautiful landscape; to make an excursion, etc.; to read, peruse:—sair-gāh, s.f. Place of perambulation, walk, passage, thoroughfare; place of recreation; a place affording a good view or prospect:—sair-o-shikār, s.m. Shooting and hunting.
