siyāhā(for P. سیاهہ siyāha), s.m. An account-book; a written account; a list, an inventory:—siyāhā-āmdanī(or siyāh-āmdanī), s.f. A treasury account of daily collections received from the cultivators:—siyāhā-bahī, s.f. The ledger or day-book in which daily receipts and disbursements are entered; a journal in which the orders of a court are recorded:—siyāhākarnā, v.t. To enter, record, register:—siyāhā-maujūdāt (or siyāh-maujūdāt), s.m. An account of the daily receipts, remittances, and disbursements (of a treasury, etc.):—siyāhā-navīs, s.m. One who keeps a rough day-book; one who keeps accounts, an accountant.
