supurd, sipurd[v.n. fr. sipurdan; rt. Zend śpar= S. ःफरor ःफुर; cf. S. सम्ूदा], s.f. Charge, keeping, care, trust; commitment, consignment, delivery:—supurd karnā, v.t. To give in charge (to, -ko), to recommend to the care (of), to entrust, consign, make or hand over (to), to commit (for trial):—supurdkunanda (vulg. kuninda), s.m.
