سندگدهہ

सिन्दग्ध sandigdha (rt. dih with sam), part. adj. Confused, indistinct, obscure, unintelligible; doubted, questioned, dubious, doubtful, uncertain; entertaining doubt, unsettled, desponding; unsafe, dangerous, riskful:—sandigdha-bhūt, s.m. (in gram.) The past-dubious tense (e.g. tum-ne dekhāhogā, 'You may have seen,' 'it may be that you saw'):—sandigdha-vartmān, s.m. The presentdubious tense (e.g. woh suntīhogī, 'it may be that she hears,' 'she may be hearing'). P H سندل सन्दल sandal, s.m.= صندل ṣandal, q.v.
