सम्पू णर् , संपूणर् sam-pūrṇ, and H. समपूरन sampūran, part. adj. Completely filled or full, replete; full (as the moon); completed, finished, complete, perfect; whole, entire, all;—adv. Completely, fully, perfectly, entirely, duly;—s.m. (in music) Any mode or tune in which all the notes of the gamut are employed:—sampūrṇ-rūp-se, adv. Entirely, completely, altogether, quite:—sampūrṇ(or sampūran) karnā, v.t. To make full, to fill up; to complete, finish, etc. (=pūrākarnā, q.v.).
