सलसलाना salsalānā[prob. S. शल्redupl.+ā= āw = Prk. āwe = S. āpi (caus. augment); cf. sarsarānā], v.n. To creep, crawl; to feel a creeping or tickling sensation; to itch; to prick, pierce; to be troubled with doubt; to be uneasy; to rankle (in);—to make a rustling sound (as the creeping ofa snake), to rustle;—v.t. To cause to simmer or boil, etc., to heat.
