िसलाना silānā[sil˚= sīl = Prk.सीयल=S. शीतल+ā= āw = Prk. āwe = S. āpi (caus. augment)+nā= Prk. अणअं= S. अनीयं], v.t. To cool;—to moisten, to wet;—to bury (syn. ṭhanḍākarnā);—to pour out (into a corner of the house, the remains of holy water used in worship; e.g. kaule silānā);—v.n.
