सरसराना sarsarānā, सुरसुराना sursurānā [sarsar or sursur, q.v.+ā = āw = Prk. āwe = S. āpi (caus. augment)+nā = Prk. अणअं=S. अनीयं ], v.n. To creep along (as a snake); to make a rustling sound, to rustle; to wave (as a field of corn in the wind); to grow, flourish, thrive (as crops, etc.); to shudder or shiver (with cold); to hiss, to emit a hissing or whizzing sound, as gunpowder, fireworks, etc.);—to feel a creeping sensation (in the limbs); to tingle, prick (as a limb).
