साह sāh (=sāhū, q.v.), s.m. A merchant, a shop-keeper; a banker; a title of respect given to merchants, bankers, etc.;—an innocent or guileless person, an honest man:—sāh-jog, adj. Creditable, reputable; payable at sight or on presentation, payable to the bearer (a hunḍī):—sāh-jī, s.m. A title of respect (=sāh).
