सांड sāṅḍ, vulg. sāṅṛ[Prk. सड्डो; S. षण्डः], s.m. A bull (esp. one set at liberty as an act of piety, and allowed to wander about at will);—a stallion;—an independent, extravagant fellow (syn. ćhal-ćikaniyā):—rāṅḍ-kāsāṅḍ, s.m. See s.v. rāṅḍ.
