ziyāda (for A. زیادة ; see ziyādat), adj. & adv. More, additional; superfluous, redundant; too much, excessive;—superfluously; excessively, etc.:—ziyāda-tar, adj. More, etc. (=ziyāda):—ziyāda ḥadd-ě-adab, More would be the extreme limit of respect (i.e. would verge on disrespect,—such is commonly the concluding phrase of a petition in Urdū or Persian):—ziyāda-sitānī, s.f.
