रूंग rūṅg[S. रोमकः+dim. aff. ṭā, Prk. डओ=S. ट+कः], s.m. Hair (of the body), down; fine wool (=ro`āṅ, q.v.):—rūṅg-rūṅgmeṅbasnā, 'To abide in every hair,' to fill every pore (of the body), to pervade (the body):—rūṅgṭā-bikār, s.m.=rom-vikār, q.v.s.v. rom:—rūṅgṭe khaṛe honā, The hairs (of the body) to stand on end (from cold, or astonishment, or fear, etc.).
