दीप dīpa, vulg. dīp, s.m. A light, lamp:—dīpālī(˚pa+ālī), s.f.=diwālī, q.v.:—dīp-br̤iksh. s.m.=dīp-vr̤iksh, q.v.:—dīp-pushp, s.m. 'Lampflower`, the plant Michelia champaka (syn. ćampā):—dīp-dān, s.m.
